Evening on the Chikugo River — Yoshida Hiroshi
"Evening on the Chikugo River" (1927) by Yoshida Hiroshi: the silhouette of a tree reflected in the Chikugo at dusk, printed with the softness of a watercolor. Gentle pale pink and gray-blue for a calm home screen.

About this wallpaper
Yoshida Hiroshi's woodblock print "Evening on the Chikugo River" (1927), cropped to 9:16 from the Cleveland Museum of Art's impression. A large tree stands as a dark silhouette on the left, mirrored in the still river; sky and water grade from pink to gray-blue, and the far bank fades into haze. Unlike ukiyo-e, it has few outlines — a modern shin-hanga print that renders dusk through gradations of color. The vertical crop takes the center of the landscape original.
On the home screen
The sky and water on the right are nearly plain, so icons on the right leave the tree's silhouette visible.
On the lock screen
The top is a pale dusk sky at medium brightness; a white clock is readable but subdued.
Colors and mood
Pale pink, gray-blue and the ink of the tree's silhouette.
