About this wallpaper
An ISS photograph from NASA's image library (iss071e256593, taken 1 July 2024), cropped to 9:16 around the densest part of the Milky Way. According to NASA's caption, the galaxy appears behind the dimly lit SpaceX Dragon Endeavour docked to the Harmony module's space-facing port. The crop leaves out almost all of the spacecraft; only a dark shape and a faint reddish glow remain in the lower-left corner. Grayish star clouds and dark dust lanes cover the whole frame, and only about a fifth of it is pure black. A public-domain NASA photograph.
On the home screen
Fine stars cover the whole frame, so icon labels get a little hard to read; icons over the dark dust lanes read best.
On the lock screen
The top is dark sky scattered with fine stars, and a white clock reads without trouble.
Colors and mood
Grayish star clouds, brown dust lanes and black space.
