About this wallpaper
The Hubble Space Telescope's infrared view of the Horsehead Nebula from NASA's image library (GSFC archive; the observation was released in 2013), cropped to 9:16 around the nebula. A brownish-gray molecular cloud rises like a horse's head from lower left to center, surrounded by scattered blue-white stars; the top is dark starfield and the cloud's rim glows faintly. Released by NASA and ESA under CC BY 4.0; credit is required when sharing.
On the home screen
The nebula sits from the center down and the top is only stars, so icons at the top leave its shape visible.
On the lock screen
The top is dark starfield, so a white clock reads well.
Colors and mood
Brown and gray gas cloud, blue-white stars and a black background.
