About this wallpaper
"Meguro Drum Bridge and Sunset Hill" (1857) from One Hundred Famous Views of Edo, cropped to 9:16 from the Cleveland Museum of Art's impression. A stone arch bridge heaped with snow curves across the middle of the sheet as people in umbrellas and straw capes cross it; the blue Meguro River flows beneath, a snowy hill and trees rise behind, and a gray snow sky fills the top. White snow covers most of the sheet, with the indigo and red of the clothing as small dots.
On the home screen
The bridge and figures are in the middle; the sky above and the river below are nearly plain. Split icons top and bottom to keep the bridge visible.
On the lock screen
The top is a fairly light gray snow sky, so a white clock loses some contrast.
Colors and mood
White, gray and river blue, dotted with the indigo and red of the clothing.
