Winter wallpapers — snow, ice and frost
30 wallpapers where snow, ice or frost is the subject or covers the scene, or whose description calls it a winter landscape. Summer highlands with snowcapped peaks in the distance, and still lifes or abstracts that only use ice as a prop, were left out. Woodblock snow scenes by Hiroshige, Hokusai and Eisen are included too. White and pale blue dominate: 37% are bright enough behind the clock to wash out a white one, and only 23% are dark at the bottom. If your phone lets you change the clock color, a dark one helps, and so do dark-text widgets. To keep a white clock, start with night snow scenes such as Starry Sky Over Snow Peak or Snowfall Park Lamp.
