About this wallpaper
"Arashiyama" (1935) from Yoshida Hiroshi's Eight Scenes of Cherry Blossoms, cropped to 9:16 from the Cleveland Museum of Art's impression. Blossoming branches at the top, the green hillside and river in the middle, and blue water with a small boat at the bottom. The pink of the flowers is pale, and the soft printing with few outlines carries the feel of spring air. The original is a tall sheet, so the composition is almost intact.
On the home screen
The water at the bottom is nearly plain, so icons there leave the blossom and hillside visible.
On the lock screen
The top is blossom and sky at medium brightness; a white clock is readable but subdued.
Colors and mood
Pale blossom pink, hillside green and water blue, with the brown of the boat.
