Yosemite Valley Vista
Under a deep blue sky, the vast granite wall of El Capitan and distant Half Dome watch over the valley. Paired with the deep green forest spreading in front, it captures the sheer grandeur of Yosemite's wilderness.

About this wallpaper
A sheer granite face rises on the left while a dense conifer forest blankets the valley floor. Hazy ridgelines and the rounded dome carry the view into the distance, and the eye lifts to the blue sky above, with green forest, gray rock, and sky forming three clear layers.
On the home screen
The blue sky opens wide across the top, so keeping icons high preserves the sweep of the valley view.
On the lock screen
Clear, bright blue sky fills the upper frame, so a white clock tends to wash out; a dark clock reads better.
Colors and mood
Forest green, gray granite, and sky blue harmonize into a clean, natural palette.
