Fit Checker — test your own photo as a wallpaper (clock, icons, per-device crop)
Before you set a photo as your phone wallpaper, check whether the lock-screen clock and home-screen icon labels will stay readable — measured the same way we measured 1,000+ wallpapers on this site. Pick your device to preview the exact crop, then export the photo at that screen's exact size. The photo is processed in your browser and never sent anywhere.
Set the exported image as your wallpaper and the phone will not scale or crop it further.

How it measures
The brightness of the clock band (10–28% from the top) and the bottom quarter is converted to luminance weighted for human vision (BT.709) on a 0–255 scale. Below 80, white text stands out clearly; at 150 and above it sinks in. "Calmness" is the standard deviation of brightness across the whole image, with under 45 counting as calm. "Truly black" is the share of pixels at 24 or below, which an OLED screen switches off. Every threshold comes from our measurements of 1,000+ wallpapers and matches the collections on this site.
Photos are processed in your browser only — nothing is uploaded or stored. Screen sizes come from each manufacturer's official specifications.
