About this wallpaper
An ISS photograph from NASA's image library (iss040e091231, taken 10 August 2014 at 09:14 GMT with a 200mm lens), cropped to 9:16 around the coastline. NASA's Gateway to Astronaut Photography files it as night city lights in California and records the photo center at 32.6° N, 117.1° W, near San Diego. The top is black sea, a bay cuts in from the upper right, and orange city lights and the lines of main roads spread across the lower two-thirds. A public-domain NASA photograph.
On the home screen
The upper third is black sea and the city lights spread below, so icons at the top leave the lights uncovered.
