About this wallpaper
An ISS photograph from NASA's image library (iss073e0685684, taken 21 August 2025), cropped to 9:16. According to NASA's caption it was taken at about 2:55 a.m. local time from the station orbiting roughly 420 km up, with the lights of New Delhi and its suburbs glittering below the atmospheric glow, at the edge of the Himalayas. In the original the city is at the top and the stars at the bottom, so it is rotated 180 degrees here to put the sky at the top: star-flecked black space above, a greenish band of airglow and dark ground in the middle, and white city lights spreading across the bottom. A public-domain NASA photograph.
On the home screen
The city lights at the bottom are blazing white and make icon labels hard to read. Keep icons up in the starry sky.
On the lock screen
The top is black space flecked with stars, so a white clock reads clearly.
Colors and mood
A black starry sky, greenish airglow and white city lights.
