About this wallpaper
The Orion Nebula mosaic released by ESA/Hubble in January 2006 (heic0601a), cropped to 9:16 around its heart. Brown, red and ocher clouds of gas cover the whole frame, with a cluster of blue-white stars (the Trapezium) glowing near the center. Dark areas are limited, with about a fifth of the pixels pure black. Licensed CC BY 4.0; credit NASA, ESA, M. Robberto (STScI/ESA) and the Hubble Space Telescope Orion Treasury Project Team.
On the home screen
The whole frame is cloud texture with the star cluster in the center, so icons at the top or bottom leave the cluster visible.
On the lock screen
The top is darkish cloud, so a white clock reads fairly well.
Colors and mood
Warm brown, red and ocher with blue-white stars and black edges.
