Ono Waterfall on the Kiso Road — Hokusai
"Ono Waterfall on the Kiso Road" (early 1830s) from Hokusai's A Tour of Waterfalls in Various Provinces: a waterfall dropping in a straight line down a cliff, filling the tall sheet — one of the finest in the series. The vertical flow of blue and gray fits 9:16 perfectly.

About this wallpaper
"Ono Waterfall on the Kiso Road" (early 1830s) from A Tour of Waterfalls in Various Provinces, cropped to 9:16 from the Cleveland Museum of Art's impression. The original is a tall sheet, so the composition is almost intact: a blue waterfall falls as a single band from the top edge to the bottom, left of center, dissolving into white mist in the pool below. A gray cliff and trees stand on the right, and travelers with a horse cross a bridge at the bottom.
On the home screen
The waterfall is a vertical band left of center, so keep icons on the cliff side to the right and the fall stays open.
On the lock screen
The top is medium-bright with rock and the head of the fall; a white clock is readable but overlaps the lines.
Colors and mood
Waterfall blue, rock gray and mist white, with tree green and a little red in the travelers.
