About this wallpaper
"Ōmori" (early 1830s) from Kuniyoshi's Famous Places in the Eastern Capital, cropped to 9:16 from the Cleveland Museum of Art's impression. Fishermen haul nets on the beach in the foreground, small boats and sailboats sit on the blue sea, and a hazy far shore and pale sky lie beyond. Shades of blue — close to the aizuri-e manner — fill most of the sheet, with small accents of red in the clothing. The vertical crop takes the center of the landscape original.
On the home screen
The figures gather in the lower half, so keep icons over the sea and sky at the top and the fishing scene stays visible.
On the lock screen
The top is a fairly light pale sky, so a white clock loses some contrast.
Colors and mood
Shades of blue and off-white, dotted with the red and black of the clothing.
