About this wallpaper
Hiroshige's bird-and-flower print "Kingfisher and Chinese Bellflowers", cropped from the Cleveland Museum of Art's impression. The original is a tall sheet, so the 9:16 crop keeps the composition nearly intact: a kingfisher with orange breast and blue back dives from the top toward blue-violet bellflowers below, whose thin stems and leaves run the height of the sheet. The ground is plain off-white with a poem inscribed at the top.
On the home screen
Bird and flowers form a narrow vertical line with plain space either side, so split icons left and right and the picture stays open.
On the lock screen
The top is bright off-white ground and the bird, so a white clock is harder to read.
Colors and mood
Blue-violet bellflowers, the blue and orange of the kingfisher and green leaves on an off-white ground.
