Green Wheat Ears
Green ears of grain with long, fine awns lean across the frame, catching soft light against a shaded background. The fresh stalks and slender bristles carry the promise of an early-summer harvest.

About this wallpaper
The heads of grain run diagonally through the center, sharp up front and blurring behind, their whiskery awns lit from the side. Crossing blades add movement, and the lower background falls into shadow. The sunlit ears are the subject.
On the home screen
The softer, blurred grain in the upper area is fairly even, so icons there stay off the front stalks.
On the lock screen
The top is a mid-bright green, so a white clock reads well.
Colors and mood
Fresh yellow-greens of young grain, lush and bright.
