About this wallpaper
An ISS photograph from NASA's image library (iss035e008023, taken 23 March 2013 at 07:44 GMT with a 400mm lens), cropped to 9:16 around the city center. NASA's Gateway to Astronaut Photography records the photo center at 38.9° N, 77.0° W: Washington, D.C. An orange grid of city lights covers the frame, the center just above the middle glows bright white, and from there the black Potomac winds toward the lower right; dark water and parkland fill the upper corners. A public-domain NASA photograph.
On the home screen
City lights cover the whole frame and icon labels get a little hard to read; icons over the black river or the dark upper right read best.
On the lock screen
City lights reach the top too; a white clock is readable but harder to see over the lights.
Colors and mood
Orange city lights, a white center and a black river.
